Mug, Bisque, Ombre Series

"Ombré" is a French term meaning "shaded or gradated." This mug features gradient glazing that adds depth on the surface. Both the clay and glaze are carefully formulated in-house, and each piece is handcrafted by artisans at the kiln located in Satomi. 

Bisque creates their ceramics in Hasami-yaki style, known for its simple yet elegant designs and durable stoneware. Today, Hasami-yaki blends traditional techniques with modern design, offering timeless ceramics sought after for their craftsmanship and versatility.
